Distance learning
Geographically remote students can learn in home and school settings through the Northern Territory Distance Learning Service.
Leading edge communication systems are used to deliver teaching and learning through the three schools of distance learning: Alice Springs School of the Air, Katherine School of the Air and NT Open Education Centre.
NTDLS grants
The Northern Territory Distance Learning Service innovation grants aim to help practising teachers develop innovative online materials and approaches to improve learning outcomes for students.
Two grants per term of up to $10 000 are available.
Submissions for grants for one term need to be submitted by the second last week of the previous term. An application may receive all or partial funding from the submission.
