NTCF support materials
A range of Layer 2 support materials for teachers is accessible through the Schools Portal under the Resources tab. These Layer 2 curriculum and assessment materials support teachers to implement the NT Curriculum Framework (NTCF), which is the first layer curriculum document in the Northern Territory.
The support materials include:
- System developed materials (e.g. Walking Talking Texts)
- System recommended or endorsed resources (e.g. First Steps, Count Me In Too, Primary Connections - Linking Science with Literacy)
- Teacher-devised and recommended resources (e.g. units of work, resource reviews).

Teaching resources for Indigenous students
These teacher resources will assist in engaging students and support teachers who may have students with low literacy levels or poor school attendance rates. These resources support teachers in the first few weeks with their students' as they learn about their students needs in order to plan more effectively to cater for their individual needs.
