Australian Apprenticeships NT
Australian Apprenticeships NT is the first place of contact for both employers and apprentices or trainees on all matters.
Australian Apprenticeships NT provides the following services on behalf of the Australian and Northern Territory Governments:
- Conducts sign up visits;
- Inspects workplaces and approves employers for the purpose of employing apprentices and trainees;
- Registers Training Agreements;
- Provides advice and assistance to employers and apprentices on all matters relating to apprenticeships and traineeships and issues relevant information and documents including blank Training Agreements and Training Schedules;
- Acknowledges receipt of valid Training Schedules;
- Monitors apprentices and trainees and resolves disputes;
- Pays Commonwealth subsidies to eligible employers, apprentices and trainees;
- Conducts six monthly site visits to the workplace;
- Processes cancellations, assignments and completions; and
- Issues certificates of registration and other notices to employers and apprentices. and trainees.
